Wim Hoff Breathwork Instructions 

For the Summer Challenge, you can also choose Wim Hoff Breathing instead of the 9D Breathwork audios for your daily breathwork practice. Here are the instructions:

  1. Breathe deeply through your mouth 30 times (the same Breathing technique you learned for 9D Breathwork). 
  2. After 30 breaths, hold your breathe on either the inhale or the exhale. Holding on the inhale is easier, holding on the exhale is more challenging. Hold your breathe as long as you can. Use a timer if you like.
  3. Option: Do an exercise during the breathe hold. Ideas are: Squeezing all your muscles, weights, push ups, tricep dips, planks, pulling on a resistance band. Don't choose cardio or jumping around. 
  4. Once you need to breathe, go ahead and stop the breath hold. 
  5. Breathe normally for 1-2 minutes. 
  6. Repeat 3 times total.

Whether you are in the Summer Challenge or not, we highly recommend using the following journal prompt after your in-person breathwork session to integrate and reflect upon your experience.
 

How is the breathwork (both in-studio and at-home) affecting your daily life? What changes are you seeing in yourself? What have you applied?

Summer Breathwork Challenge Online Donation

Remember, your donation is not a tip. it's how the Breathwork program is funded. We do not have grants or other forms of financing supporting Breathwork at the studio.
