 Why do the Summer Challenge?
Doing breathwork one time or a few times can be helpful …. but doing it consistently can bring profound change. The Summer Challenge can help keep you on track with a few months of consistent breathwork practice. Changes that accompany breathwork can sometimes be very challenging for people and the desire to stop or avoid can get strong. People find when they stick with it they can move through difficult parts of change and emerge to a much happier and satisfying state.Â
To successfully complete the challenge:Â
- You will agree to do at least 10 in-person breathworks. Breathworks offered every Sat 10-Noon from May 2nd-August 29 (19 weeks) and also every first and third Sunday evening 6:30-8:30pm through the summer.
- You will agree to complete the at-home, short breathwork sessions 5 times per week throughout the session.
- You will also be required to participate in the group discussions at the in-person breathwork sessions and fill out progress forms.
- You’ll put down a $200 deposit that will be returned to you once you successfully complete the challenge. The $200 deposit helps keep you accountable.
- The in-person 9D Breathworks are donation based with a minimum $5 donation. Our normal pricing for a single breathwork session is $75. You can choose what you think is right for you to donate.
- It’s required to show up for the in-person session with no dryer sheets and fabric softener (even unscented…no dryer sheets and fabric softener at all) on your clothing and coats and blankets. No scented laundry products at all. We are doing deep breathing and need clean air to breathe.Â
How do IÂ sign up?
Sign up for the Summer ChallengeTo sign up for the Summer Challenge, click the button below. Start by signing in for orientation on April 25th. Even if you cannot attend, sign in for the orientation anyway and follow the rest of the process. You will be prompted to purchase your package and pay the $200 deposit you will receive back upon successful completion. Let us know if you cannot attend the orientation.ÂOnce we receive your deposit and you sign in for orientation, you will have a spot. For those already in the current study….. we can transfer your current deposit to the Summer Challenge. If you want to do this, let us know.ÂÂPlease read the full contract during the purchase process. We do take the contract terms seriously and it is your responsibility to understand these points.Â
What is 9D Breathwork?Â
It’s a technique that uses deep vigorous breathing to temporarily change your brain wave state. The deep breathing helps your brain waves move out of the “monkey mind” over analysis, overthinking, obsessing mode. This brain wave state helps your body to tap into it’s innate healing mode. Healing can mean letting go of past trauma held in the body. Healing can also mean a flood of inspiration and new ideas that seeming come out of nowhere. All this is powered by your breath. The breathing DOES feel effortful. This is not a relaxing practice. You just need to focus on taking the deep breaths and your body will take it from there. The deep breathing and brain wave state change is the key to tapping into the wisdom of your body and allowing it to heal itself.
Most of us are not used to doing that…trusting our bodies. We like to learn and think and control…. and those are not bad things….. but we often ignore what our body has to offer and have no idea how to tap into our body. Here we can let go of all that during the Breathwork session.
You will use headphones (provided) and listen to recording that includes specifically chosen healing frequencies, a person talking, hypnotic suggestion (that you can hear). You’ll experience many different themes in the Breathworks (they are all different). Â
You will sit up or lie down for your sessions. There will be a trained facilitator in the room throughout the Breathwork session and it will be live at the studio (not online). You will need to come to the studio to do the sessions.
The live, in person Breathworks will be the hour long Breathwork journeys. It’s important to spread these out and not do multiple journeys in one week as they work deeply and you will need time to integrate.
You can go to YouTube, search “9D Breathwork” and do some of the short  (5-20 minutes) Breathworks they provide. You’ll get an idea of what this is.
